Click Start button and select &#8220;Setting&#8221; then &#8220;Control Panel&#8221; menu <br \/>\noptions. <\/p>\n<p>  2. Select the &#8220;Add\/Remove&#8221; programs icon. <\/p>\n<p>  3. Select and remove all Easy CD Creator programs and remove all <br \/>\nshared files when prompted. <\/p>\n<p>  Next Clean Easy CD Creator completely from your system: <\/p>\n<p>  1. Go to &#8220;Start&#8221; and then to &#8220;My Computer&#8221; and select it.<br \/>\n  2. Go into your C:\\ drive (C:\\ is default install drive, compensate <br \/>\naccordingly if you installed in another location)<br \/>\n  3. Go into the &#8220;Program Files&#8221; Folder <br \/>\n  4. Look for a &#8220;Adaptec&#8221; folder and if found delete it <br \/>\n  5. Look for a &#8220;Direct CD&#8221; folder and if found delete it <br \/>\n  6. Go into the &#8220;Common Files&#8221; Folder <br \/>\n  7. Look for an &#8220;Adaptec&#8221; and\/or &#8220;Adaptec Shared&#8221; folder and if found <br \/>\ndelete them.<br \/>\n  8. Go into the &#8220;InstallShield&#8221; Folder (C:\\Program Files\\Common <br \/>\nFile\\InstallShield and rename the &#8220;Engine&#8221; and &#8220;IScript&#8221; folders to <br \/>\n&#8220;Engine.ROX&#8221; and &#8220;Iscript.ROX&#8221;<br \/>\n  9. Go to &#8220;Start&#8221; then &#8220;Search&#8221;, look in C:\\ (or the drive where your <br \/>\noperating system is located) and search for:<br \/>\n  Cdr4vsd.sys or .vxd<br \/>\n  Cdr4dll.dll or .vsd<br \/>\n  Cdrpwd.vxd<br \/>\n  Cdralvsd.vxd<br \/>\n  Cdral.dll <br \/>\n  Cdrtc.dll<br \/>\n  Enginst.exe<br \/>\n  Uneng.exe<br \/>\n  10. Rename any of those files you can find, changing their extensions <br \/>\nto .ROX<br \/>\n  (Right click on the file name and choose &#8220;rename&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>  WARNING: THE NEXT 6 STEPS INVOLVES EDITING YOUR SYSTEM REGISTRY. ROXIO <br \/>\nSTRONGLY RECOMMENDS YOU EXPORT YOUR REGISTRY BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY <br \/>\nEDITING. EDITING YOUR REGISTRY INCORRECTLY CAN CAUSE IRREPARABLE SYSTEM <br \/>\nDAMAGE. THEY RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE EDITING YOUR <br \/>\nREGISTRY THAT YOU SKIP THESE STEPS. (Despite that, these steps are <br \/>\nnecessary to cleanly uninstall version 4 from your system. I suspect the <br \/>\nabove paragraph is only there to satisfy the lawyers)<\/p>\n<p>  1. Click Start button and select &#8220;Run&#8221; menu option. <br \/>\n  2. Type &#8220;regedit&#8221; and click OK button. <br \/>\n  3. Select Hkey Current User\/software and remove the following key: <br \/>\nAdaptec <br \/>\n  4. Select Hkey Local Machine\/software and remove the following key: <br \/>\nAdaptec <br \/>\n  5. Exit the registry editor. <br \/>\n  6.
