Just to document for anybody that might have the same or a similar problem
\nin the future, here the working configuration.<\/p>\n
1. ~\/.fetchmailrc
\n set postmaster “postmaster”
\n set nobouncemail
\n set properties “”
\n poll pop3.iinet.net.au with proto POP3 envelope iinet.net.au
\n aka mydomain.com.au iinet.net.au localdomains mydomain.com.au
\n user ‘iinetmailboxname’ there with password ‘iinetmailboxpasswd’ is
\n user1 user2 user3 here warnings 3600
\n antispam 571 550 501 554<\/p>\n
2. \/etc\/mail\/mailertable
\n mail.iinet.net.au local:user1<\/p>\n
3. \/etc\/mail\/virtusertable
\n iinetmailboxname@iinet.net.au user1<\/p>\n
So to summarise, removing no envelope from the header, iinet.net.au from
\nlocaldomains and adding envelope iinet.net.au to the poll in ~\/.fetchmailrc
\nmade fetchmail behave correctly.<\/p>\n
adding iinet.net.au local:user1 in mailertable made sendmail beh
\nave correctly.<\/p>\n
Don’t forget to re-build the databases after changing mailertable and
