If a hard drive fails, the data cannot be recovered. Refer to  the appropriate procedure below to recover or recreate your  configuration:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disconnected Hard Drive<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn off the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Reconnect the hard drive.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on the computer. The option ROM automatically marks the RAID 0 volume as normal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Failed Hard Drive<\/strong><br \/>\nThis procedure deletes the failed RAID 0 volume and creates a new RAID 0 volume.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn off the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Replace the failed hard drive with a new hard drive of equal or greater capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on the computer. When prompted during system startup, press <strong>Ctrl+I <\/strong>at the same time to enter the option ROM user interface.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>2. Delete RAID Volume<\/strong> .<\/li>\n<li>Use the up or down arrow keys to select the failed RAID 0 volume.<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>Delete<\/strong> to delete the volume.<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>Y<\/strong> to confirm the deletion.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>1. Create RAID Volume<\/strong> and follow the prompts to create a new RAID 0 volume.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>6.
