Enter details from your IT  administrator.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>To add Corporate Sync \/ Exchange accounts:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Applications tray, select My Accounts\u00a0 <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/motorola-global-eng.custhelp.com\/rnt\/rnw\/img\/enduser\/droidxmyaccountsicon.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Image\" width=\"62\" height=\"53\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Add Account<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You will be at the <strong>Set-Up accounts<\/strong> menu with several other social network icons.<\/li>\n<li>Tap on Corporate Sync:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/motorola-global-eng.custhelp.com\/rnt\/rnw\/img\/enduser\/droidxcorporateemailsetup.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Image\" width=\"290\" height=\"455\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will need the\u00a0below information to setup an Exchange Account\u00a0on your phone:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter: Domain name\\user name<\/li>\n<li>Enter Password<\/li>\n<li>Use secure server should be checked.<\/li>\n<li>Enter Email address<\/li>\n<li>Enter Exchange Server Address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>5. Tap on Next\u00a0 to submit settings. Handset will check with server and verify if successful. (1 day, 3days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month,  All) &#8211; keep in mind if you have messages older than this setting, those email messages will not sync over<\/li>\n<li>Select Remove account to remove this Corporate Exchange account from the handset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Froyo 2.2 users might receive multiple requests for Pin code set-up  for their Exchange account. This can occur even if not requested on  server side. To remove this requirement from the handset you can try this workaround:<\/li>\n<li>\n<ol>\n<li>Remove corporate exchange account.<\/li>\n<li>After removing account, the phone will allow the removing of the pin. Go into Location &amp; security &gt; Set up screen lock in your settings menu and turn off the Pin\/Passcode lock (set it to none).<\/li>\n<li>Once the pin is removed then re-add corporate exchange account.<\/li>\n<li>The phone does not request pin code again<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>General notes:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>You cannot move email into sub-folders from the device.<\/li>\n<li>You cannot sort or search email.<\/li>\n<li>OWA servers are not the same as Exchange servers, and are intended to be used only in browsers.<\/li>\n<li>HTML exchange email is only shown if you are connected to Exchange 2007 server using 2007 protocol<\/li>\n<li>EML files (embedded emails) are not currently supported.<\/li>\n<li>Photo sync with your\u00a0corporate exchange contacts is\u00a0not currently supported, but will be supported in future Firmware releases.<\/li>\n<li>Check Android Marketplace for\u00a0other email client applications if you  need more features for your email client or having issues setting up  your email provider.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"CLICK HERE\" href=\"https:\/\/motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/48530\/session\/L2F2LzEvdGltZS8xMzAwNTUwNDA5L3NpZC9KY24za2twaw%3D%3D\" target=\"_new\">CLICK HERE<\/a> to learn more about customizing corporate sync \/ exchange email settings<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/57382\/session\/L2F2LzEvdGltZS8xMzAwNTUwNDA5L3NpZC9KY24za2twaw%3D%3D\" target=\"_new\">Click here<\/a> if having notification issues with Corporate Exchange email.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Corporate Sync, Enterprise, Corporate Exchange Server Email: Notes: Exchange account (Corporate Sync) is for Microsoft\u00ae Exchange server work email accounts.
