\ncopied all programs i thought I would like loaded to the c:\\downloads directory<\/p>\n
followed the novell method of creating the sysprep image
\nedited the boot.ini file to include different Hal<\/p>\n

\ncopied all programs i thought I would like loaded to the c:\\downloads directory
\ntook hal.dl_ files from the install directory and expanded them for the boot.ini file.
\ncopies to c:\\windows\\system32<\/p>\n
followed the novell method of creating the sysprep image
\nedited the boot.ini file to include different Hal<\/p>\n
added these lines to boot.ini note the halstd.dll copies the hal.dll from the install and names it halstd.dll<\/p>\n
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\\WINDOWS=”Standart PC” ⁄fastdetect ⁄hal=halstd.dll
\nmulti(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\\WINDOWS=”ACPI PC” ⁄fastdetect ⁄hal=halacpi.dll
\nmulti(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\\WINDOWS=”ACPI Uniprocessor PC ” ⁄fastdetect ⁄hal=halmacpi.dll<\/p>\n
did the sysprep install and imaged to usb drive.<\/p>\n
images teh p3 700 machine with the sysprep install, had to boot with bcd disk, edit the boot.ini file to add time to select the proper hal. <\/p>\n
Had to boot with the std hal on the p3 and everything worked fine.<\/p>\n
