\nmy system would reboot just before the windows xp login. To get my system
\nbackup I had to use recovery console and run the spuninst batch for this
\nupdate. After that my system booted up fine. Here is reference to this fix.

\nI know it is for windows 2000, but it works for xp too.<\/p>\n

\nThe other updates that were installed with this update are giving me
\nproblems too. The main thing I noticed was the TCP\/IP stack failed. (No
\nnetwork access) So I uninstalled them all from Add\/remove programs.
