added new server to network, dcpromo missing netlogon and sysvol shares<\/p>\n

Got AD working\u2026 I following this white paper from MS<\/p>\n

I did not follow line per line as it had some stuff that was not needed.<\/p>\n

But basically did the following<\/p>\n

  1. On Tcb-mail\u00a0 net stop ntfrs<\/li>\n
  2. On Tcb-dc\u00a0\u00a0 net stop ntfrs<\/li>\n
  3. On Tcb-dc2\u00a0 net stop ntfrs<\/li>\n
  4. On tcb-mail\u00a0 set the Burflags to D4\u00a0\u00a0 this makes it the main dude of the AD<\/li>\n
  5. On Tcb-dc\u00a0 set the burflags to D2\u00a0 this makes it replicate from the main dude<\/li>\n
  6. On Tcb-dc2\u00a0 set the burflags to D2\u00a0 ditto<\/li>\n
  7. On tcb-mail\u00a0\u00a0 net start ntfrs<\/li>\n
  8. On tcb-dc\u00a0\u00a0 net start ntfrs<\/li>\n
  9. On tcb-dc2\u00a0 net start ntfrs<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
